Sexual, Reproductive, Maternal and Newborn Health adaptations during the COVID-19 pandemic
A repository of ideas, adaptations and lessons learned across the globe.
Thank you for your interest in this repository documenting ideas, adaptations and lessons learned by those involved in the provision of sexual, reproductive, maternal and newborn health during the COVID-19 pandemic across the globe. This project was launched in a “Call for Action” paper published by Sexual and Reproductive Health Matters journal in October 2020. This project has been approved by the Institutional Review Board of the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium (1428/10).
If you have an idea for tackling a particular problem, or tried to do so, we encourage you to complete a simple form to share this experience with others:
Clinicians | Community health workers | Health facility managers |
Researchers | Policy-makers | NGO leads |
Programme managers | Professional associations | Community (traditional, religious) leaders |
Advocates | Patient/women’s organization | Organisations Educators |
We fear that many of the innovations and solutions thought of and tried by health providers, health facilities, districts, NGOs, and Ministries in response to COVID-19 will not be well documented and that we fail to learn from our shared experiences.
